Hello Panther Community

Welcome to this week's edition of the Frankfort High Newsletter! We're excited to share the latest happenings and updates from our school community to keep you informed and engaged.

School News and Updates

Last week, we gave our first official SAT. 20 sophomores opted in to the test and were able to experience the new state test for the first time. This week, our juniors will take the state SAT while freshmen and sophomores take thier final practice test for the year! We are excited for our juniors and are doing our best to set them up for success on test day. Help us help them by reminding them to get a good night's sleep on Monday, come to FHS for a good breakfast starting at 7:30, and try their best on the test!

We are now just 2 weeks from the end of the quarter! CREST teachers should be reaching out with EXCEL invites for any student failing one or more courses. Be on the lookout for that, and feel free to reach out to your child's CREST teacher with any questions or concerns. Our goal is for everyone to have the support they need to finish strong!

Finally, we have our last parent pulse check for the year! Please complete this Google Form to give us feedback as we begin planning for the 2026/27 school year!

Important Reminders

  • .We have had a change in PEP and EXCEL dates for this Spring Break. PEP week will now be March 25-27, and EXCEL will run March 30 through April 3. If you would like your student to attend either of these weeks please reach out to your students CREST mentor or to the front office.
 

Academic Corner:

Hello FHS Parents and Students,

I want to start by giving a big shout out to our sophomores who took the SAT this week. Thank you for your hard work and for attempting this difficult test ahead of the SAT School Day Junior year. We hope this experience will help you prepare for next year's exam.

The SAT School Day for Juniors will be this Tuesday, March 10th. If you have not already, please take a minute to read the Parent Notification Letter and the SAT Students Guide attached below. The student's guide contains important information about the test, as well as tips and advice for test takers. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
