When looking for weather closures, please remember that we are the FRANKFORT INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS. If you see that the Franklin County Schools are closed, this DOES NOT mean we are closed. We do not close when other districts close. We close when we feel it is necessary for the safety of our students
If you do not see FRANKFORT INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS, please send your students to school. We need your students at school when the doors are open. Every day of instruction is important to their academic and social-emotional growth.
IF the Frankfort Independent Schools were to close, we would do an all-call, email, text, and post on our website, social media outlets, and local radio and TV stations.
Again, please remember that we are the FRANKFORT INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS, not the Franklin County Schools.
Thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving Panthers, and Cubs!
